This War is Tangible

Hey Everyone! I am so sorry for not doing blog posts in awhile! So much has been going on and I needed to process a lot of things. Here is a short update for you all!   Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified, do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”   Prayer Requests: -Safety and protection over the team from spiritual attacks -Restored health for the team   God has already conquered all evil, but by making a physical appearance at a “church/hospital” near care...

Visions from the Lord

Since training camp I have been learning more about the Lord speaking to me.  The ways that the Lord can speak and the ways in scripture he has spoken.  At training camp we did at the time an uncomfortable way of listening and speaking what the Lord was saying.  It was really the first time I had activity listened to the Lord and felt he was speaking.  Since being here in Swaziland the Lord has been speaking to me a lot.  He lays things on my heart, brings things to my mind, shows me images and visions.  Sometimes it is over me, other times it is over other...

My Heart Breaks and The Lord is using the Pieces

The Lord has been very active so far in our time here in Swaziland.  I see the Lord in the beauty of this place.  The Mountains, the sunsets, the precious children.  Even the wild animals.  We have been staying in timbotini so it is not right in the middle of the city.  The houses are spread out and the land is rocky.  My heart breaks for these people and their lives.  Food is avaible only in small amounts, jobs are unheard of and people are hungry but I see hope.  There are 34 carepoints across swaziland started by people in the community who saw a...

Dancing for the Lord

Today has been a day full of dancing. At the care point, we played music and had a big dance party with all the kids. It was a new, fun, silly kind of loving. We danced and laughed all afternoon and I realized what a beautiful picture it was.

One little seven-year-old boy was such a joy to dance with. He would copy every move we would do, with excellence actually. (He was a pro at shaking his hips!) We danced and laughed all afternoon and I realized what a beautiful picture it was. We, as followers of Christ, are called to have child-like faith; faith that sees what Jesus does and copys it, just like copying the silly dance moves. The sweet little boy had his eyes...

A Day In Their Shoes

Today represented a day in their shoes.  I went to do construction and we were done by 10 am then I was able to create ministry.  A lady name Sinphiwe came to fetch water with her 9 month old baby named Phimelele.  I saw her pushing a wheelbarrow down the rocky dirt road with two five gallon containers for water with her baby in the wheelbarrow naked.  I began talking to Sinphiwe about life, how often she had to fletch water, about her son and her homestead.  I found out that she was a single mother and she is 21 years old.  I could not beleive the process that...
