I hear this song so often, but I rarely stop to think about it: how does Jesus really love me? I heard it put last week that “the chief way that Jesus loves us is in our weakness, our immaturity, our inability” and I can add my naïveté, my outright failure, my stubbornness, the list really goes on and on. Adventure of a Lifetime

Hiking on a mountain in Africa, wildlife all around, African drums in the distance, and watching a storm blow in, all at the same time? Yeah, that’s what my day consisted of on Saturday. How many people can say that?? My team had the privilege of experiencing this incredible opportunity on our day off when we decided to go check out Execution Rock. On the mountain we saw zebras, wildebeests, warthogs, antelope, a lemur, a crocodile, and some hippos! It was pretty legit. Leap of Faith

Another week has passed here in Swaziland. God has been so good to me and has been teaching me so much.  He has been teaching me a lot about trust and faith. I have had issues about fear the last few weeks and God has been telling me to let go of all this fear and to leave it all in his hands. God is in control. God brought me here on a leap of faith and I know he has a lot of things in store for me here for my team and me. Faith is not knowing what the future holds but knowing who holds the future.
