God is Beauty!!

When I think of Africa “hilly and mountainous” are not words that naturally come to my mind. But here the hills and the mountains are what make up the beautiful background I am blessed to see everywhere I look. I love it. I see God’s creativity in every direction. It humbles me looking at all the natural beauty, no decorations or fronts, it is just Swaziland in her own naked beauty. One of my favorite little things so far is at night when I go out to brush my teeth and wash my face. As I do those simple tasks I do so under the huge moon and the bright stars! it is a sight...

Made it Safely

We just spoke with the team leaders and they’ve all arrived safely in South Africa.  Tomorrow, they will be in route to their ministry site in Swaziland via some very long bus rides and will be settling in these next few days and getting some orientation from their host.  Expect to see some blogs rolling out in the next few days as they find internet. Thanks for all the prayers for this team! The Passport field support team

Adventure of a Lion

Training Camp Adventures: Training Camp has been one adventure after another.  I met my team of 22 amazing women of God who are supported, full of compassion and have such servant hearts.  We have been worshipping, proclaiming Jesus’ name, listening to the Lord speak and surrendering.  Every time I wish we would leave Georgia and go to Africa at that moment, the Lord convicts me or teaches me something else that I realized I had to learn before my adventure.  I know that the Lord is powerful and that He is working in my life!  He is teaching me that I do not...

Beauty

These past few months here in Swaziland, I have really grown in the way that I see myself. My team installed in my mind that I am a VERY beautiful woman and I’m created in the image of God. They all made me do exercises that help me be positive and not negative about myself and other things. It helped me out a lot.  I found some quotes that really spoke to me during this trip and helped me see my identity in Christ. “You are a wonderful woman, made by God to be just the way you are, completely loved and worthy of being loved.” “God has given us life to glorify...

Honoured.

Isaiah 42:1. Behold my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom my soul delights; I have put my Spirit upon him; he will bring forth justice to he nations.   This past week I was on a house visit to a woman of God who I have come to dearly love and she said something that has stuck with me since then. Her name is Gogo Flora and she is so amazing and so joyful in the Lord and we have had the privilege of cementing the floor in her small house because it was an uneven dirt floor that gave many problems when it rained and would fill up with water. God is so good to plan things...

Made to Worship

This will be my last blog while I am in Swaziland. It’s crazy how time flies! I have learned and grown so much throughout this journey. I can’t believe it’s almost over. It’s not even possible to put it all into words. I’m sure I don’t even know all that God has done in and through me. In this post, I’d like to share just one of the things I have learned. I’m reading a book that was left here at the team house. It’s called “This we believe.”  This quote stuck out to me: “Worship is the submission of all of our nature to...
