Our team decided to go on a fast from food for 2 and a half days. It was a crazy time of really tapping into how these people really live. Yesterday was one of our weaker days, tired weak and hungry. We went to a care point and did some crafts and handed out shirts. When we got home that night Mere asked us a hard question…
“DID YOU GIVE YOUR ALL TODAY?”
Honestly, I had a simple job of holding papers to dry, but i didn’t give my all. yesterday opened my eyes to the fact i may never see these kids again. The way our team works is that there is no schedule. So going to a care point maybe be only for one day. And that’s it! ONE day to pour out Christ’s love onto these children.
Gods really been teaching me to live in the moment ! Every moment. I don’t know if i will ever get to hold that precious boy again, or share a bowl of pop and beans with a teammate. I need to embrace every single moment soak in it. Share Gods love ALL the time.
The reality of life is that life is short. And time flies fast! The God of this Universe is telling us to arise! WAKE UP! make the most out of EVERY opportunity!
