So…it’s been a long time since we’ve had meat to eat. We’ve probably only had it 3 times this whole trip. But yesterday we had the priviledge of killing 3 chickens by ourselves so we could eat it today! It was quite the experience. Gross? Yes.. extremely. Repulsive? Of course! The chicken got loose after we cut it’s head off, that was fun trying to catch it again.
Thankfully we had some help from some of our friends we’ve made here. They walked us through each step. But are we all proud of ourselves for our accomplishment? For sure! Good job team. I’m proud of us 🙂 HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
