Team Swazi :)

This first week in Swaziland hase been a really big challenge. Adjusting to the new culture and getting to know the people in the small town of Timboutini has been so amazing. Going to the care points almost every day and getting to spend time with the kids there has already taught me so much in as little a one week. I think that If Iwere to go home right now, I would come home a completely different person then when i came here a week ago. Learning the culture and the language has not been easy at all. I’ts actually very tiring. I have never slept so much in my life! But its all...

When I initially came to Africa in 2008-2009 I came to help, to serve, which I did but I have come to realize that God...

Safely arrived

We just spoke with the team leaders and they’ve arrived safely in South Africa. They were on the way to a hotel for the night before driving into Swaziland tomorrow.  They will be settling in these next few days and getting some orientation from their host.  Expect to see some blogs rolling out in the next few days as they find internet. Thanks for all the prayers for this team! The Passport field support team

Wahoo, HERE at training camp!

The super incredible amazing adventure has begun!  After all teams arrived at the Atlanta airport Friday, we were surprised with an envelope that gave us instructions to find our way to The Safehouse.  We took the Marta (subway) to Peachtree Street.  From there, we asked someone on the street for directions and then were on our way carrying our HEAVY weight of equipment that will last us for for the next three in a half months.  Let me just say:  it was heavy and a great hike to our destination.  At The Safehouse we were told that the rest of the night we were going to spend on the...
