The Love of Jesus

The Love of Jesus is so wonderful         The Love of Jesus is so Wonderful       The love of Jesus is so Wonderful   Oooooh wonderful love!     This is the song we sing pretty much everyday. If we don’t sing it to someone, we sing it to each other because it’s stuck in our heads! But as simple as the song is, I really like it. The love of Jesus is so wonderful. Yesterday I was walking with Kelsey and we telling each other about the goodness of God in our lives. It made me so excited to see how good He...

I AM …

I AM …   God wants to know who you are? He wants you to feel his presence and find out who you are in him.  The other night at our worship time Tara had a vision of us writting who we are in God.  I really Loved this!  I wrote I am faithful.  Ever since I got her I keep hearing faithful being used a lot in the songs the Swazi people sing and the second day we got here we asked the people to give us Saswati names, because that is what they like to do.  I was given the name “Thembekile” which means faithful to the one you love.  I am...

We had to cary huge buckets of water up hil on our heads! It was crazy! As i did this I realized that this is normal for many of the Swazi people. If they dont do this than they wont have access to any water. Back at home we have so much brought to us. Like water is brought to us from a sink! We really have alot to be thankful for 🙂 I and the rest of the team really love our trips...

The heart of Jesus

Matthew 19:14 But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”   It’s been another week full of love. We go to a care point pretty much every day. I love that I get the privilege of loving these precious children. I am honored to be the one that God uses to keep His promises to His little ones. I get to be the very hands and feet of Jesus.   What does that look like? A lap to sit on instead of the ground. The smile that is contagious. A shoulder to cry on. That kiss or that hug. A hand to...
