Last Days in Timbutini

Wow. It’s hard to believe our time in Timbutini has come to an end and we are now starting a new journey in Nsoko. There has been amazing times and hard times but I have enjoyed getting to know the people here and building relationships with them and blessing others by our presence in their lives.   My favorite times in Timbutini have been going to the carepoints and playing with the kids. I also enjoyed visiting Glady’s and her family. Going to town and seeing our friend’s from Wimpy’s and the market, were the best days in Timbutini. I loved getting to know...

Nozipho, our translators, family....

Sizar! :)

I was at the market in Manzini and me and Nikki were doing ministry. The first day we went we met a man named Sizar.  Sizar is awesome! He is 28 years old and is married and has a 1 year old son. We were just talking and hanging out with him and bought some stuff over the past few weeks we have seen him. Every time we go into town we go visit him and spend the whole time just talking and becoming friends. We took a picture together (actually quite a few) and printed it out for...

I have ;earned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.Philippians 4:11-14

We Are All God’s Children

For those of you who don’t know me, I’m a huge animal lover. Most of the time it’s a blessing. While other times it is not so much. Those of you who have been to Africa will know, loving animals is not quite so much a blessing here. The people treat their animals as….well…. animals. Which is doable until it gets to the point where it’s literally beating their animals. This is what I encountered the other day. We were traveling back from ministry in Manzini and we saw this man beating his dog. I’ve never seen it to this extent though. I’ve...
