At the beginning of this trip one of my teammates told our team about a company called “I need Africa more than Africa needs me.” For the past 3 months i’ve kept a list of why I personally needed Africa more than Africa ever needed me. This will be my last blog while I am in Swaziland. It’s crazy how time flies! I have learned and grown so much throughout this journey. I can’t believe it’s almost over. It’s not even possible to put it all into words. I’m sure I don’t even know all that God has done in and through me. In this post, I’d like to share just one of the things I have learned. Isaiah 42:1. These past few months here in Swaziland, I have really grown in the way that I see myself. My team installed in my mind that I am a VERY beautiful woman and I’m created in the image of God. They all made me do exercises that help me be positive and not negative about myself and other things. I’m just sitting outside right now in the sunshine and on a chair in Africa with chickens literally all around me. I am just really happy. I am content. I am loved. I am a daughter of Christ.
