God has been teaching me a lot about love the past couple weeks. I find myself having a negative attitude about some situations or against some people who we have met.
I know this is not what I am supposed to be doing/thinking/acting…especially here on a mission’s trip. But not at home either. I know God wants and commands me to love others unconditionally just as he loves us.
I also have been thinking a lot about what I say and how I say it. This is something that is hard for me but I woke up one day and God told me to try it. He had been putting it on my heart since I got here. I put a conscious effort to think about EVERYTHING I said before saying it and at the end of the day I felt really happy and I felt really accomplished. I could still have a conversation and say what I wanted to say without being so blunt! Thank you God for teaching me a little more about your love and help me to continue to practice and learn more each and every day!
Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, if anything is excellent or praiseworthy- think about such things.
