What does it sound like when we sing Heaven’s song?
What does it feel like when Heaven comes down?
What does it look like when God is all around?
This week during training camp we were taught, challenged, encouraged, and stretched. On our first night together we spent the night, until 4am, on the streets of Atlanta experiencing life as the homeless. It was by far the most miserable night of my life, but through the night the Lord taught my so much about the hope that comes from having a relationship with Him. The people living on the streets had more joy and hope than I would ever have in their situations.
We spent the rest of Tuesday through today at AIM’s base. There were two teams heading to India and one team heading to Kenya who were also a part of our training. While being together we worshiped the amazing Creator of this world, proclaimed bold prayers, laid down expectations, exercised team building, and ate some interesting food. I never thought about putting cheese, tomato, onion, and banana on a sandwich.
The power of being in community with 50+ people who are all passionate about taking the love of Jesus to the ends of the earth is unreal. Our cry this week has been to pray prayers declaring that we WILL be the answers to the prayers the people of Swaziland have been praying. They don’t know that we are coming, but God does. There is a purpose for us there that is only capable of being fulfilled through the Holy Spirit. I have been blessed with an amazing team to serve along side as we reach out the the Swazi people.

This is what it looks like when God is all around – Let it come!
This is the Swazi team 🙂 We painted a canvas that will be hung in our house that reminds us of our vision of this trip. Isaiah 61:1
