Lenhle is one of the most beautiful little girls. Her name even means beautiful. She’s four years old. Her smile is contagious. Her laugh is one of the best sounds I’ve ever heard. She’s stolen a little piece of my heart. She picked me. My very first time at the care point, she saw me and came running and jumped into my arms. And I continue to fall more in love with her every time we visit the Timbutini Care Point.
I don’t know her story. I don’t know where she comes from. I don’t know where her parents are, if they’re taking care of her or not. I don’t know if she has brothers and sisters. I don’t know how many times a day she eats a meal. But what I do know is that I’m here to love her. And even if it’s just for a short time, it will still make a difference.
