In the past couple blogs I have mentioned Khosi. Tuesday our team went back to the Hope House and there I saw Khosi again! I walked in when Colleen, Cassie, and Natalie were in reading Scripture with her. It is a blessing and amazing to be able to freely read Gods word to those who are in need of his perfect and true words. When Tara and I sat down and joined in with talking to Khosi, she was not feeling too great. she still had high spirits and spoke positive. A couple things she said: she is ready for Jesus to return (AMEN!) She was thinking and worried about her 2 year old daughter continue to pray that soon she will be able to see her daughter she loves dearly. (If you dont know: Khosi’s daughter lives with her aunt in South Africa.) Khosi poured out her heart of doing Gods will and being completely fully devoted to God alone (AMEN!). She said she needs to help those who are sick. Its Gods will for her to help those who are sick because she has been and is sick. She desires to do Gods will alone; devoted to following Gods plan and wholeheartedly devoted to God and his guidance. When practically our whole team was surrounding Khosi we were talking about marriage and if not or if she will get married and she was so firm with telling us specifically what she is believes. To be fully devoted to God alone. How amazing. Think about it. Are you wholeheartedly devoted alone to God above? Are you living your life completely surrendered to God and living your life all for God? I myself, struggle to surrender everything to God and to be devoted to him alone. Khosi is devoted to God alone. You see God all within her. She glows Gods light so brightly. Her joy and peace is from God. Her spirit is the Holy Spirit. I admire Khosi. I admire her beauty, Gods beauty within her and who she is in Christ Jesus. These verses have me think about Khosi and who she is. Psalm 40:8 I desire to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart. 1 Corinthians 7:34 …her aim is to be devoted to the Lord in both body and spirit Ephesians 3:16-21 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established din love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge-that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.� 2 Corinthians 3:17-18 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lords glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever increasing glory, which comes form the Lord, who is the Spirit.
Dear Pile,
You may never ever read this but I’m writing you a letter. You are the most adorable 4 year old boy I know. Today (Wednesday October 5, 2011) I had the best day with you! You spoke for the first time today, to me! It was so much FUN counting 1,2,3,4,5 (and you continued to count 6,7,8,9) and boom jumping off the playground into the rocky sand. Even jumping up and down and dancing. Sometimes you are a bit rough when you hit and kick, but you are a boy and acting out in love. You are so tiny. I love how tiny you are and how big your head is. You are adorable. Words can not express how adorable you are. Your smile is beautiful. I love hearing you try to figure out how to pronounce and say Kaitlin. I love hearing you sing quietly. I love your huge hugs.
God, Pile is your child. I ask that you protect him. Sustain his body; provide food to nurture is health. Protect his mind and soul as he grows up. Be his shield and strength. Guard him with your Spirit.

This week has been going by fast! Month down and soon almost 2 more months left. I’m so blessed and happy to be here in Timbutini. Now being in love with the Timbutini carepoint, knowing the children and knowing there names (some of them hard to pronounce and remember). Right when our eyes see the children, I love seeing everyone (and myself) lighten up knowing they are finally here ready to be held, played with, fed, and ready to hear a Bible story. A favorite is being able to run and pick up a child (mostly Pile).
Few things God has set on my heart and is working through me:
Contain the love of the Lord: to be full of the Lords pure love and pour out his perfect, unfading and unfailing love onto others. Mark 12:30-31. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.
Fear the Lord. Deuteronomy 10:12 What does the Lord your God ask of you but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
Be content. To be content in growing my faith and walk with God no matter where he leads and unknowns he puts in front of me.
Not to judge. Matthew 7:1-2 Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and wit the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Deuteronomy 1:17 Do not show partially in judging; hear both small and great alike. For judgment belongs to God.
Looking forward so seeing all what God has planned in the next week ahead! We serve a great and perfect God. To him alone be all honor and glory!
