Hey friends!
First, let me start by saying “thank you!” Man, thank you doesn’t
even begin to express how grateful I am. Raising support was such a
vulnerable and also humbling experience for me. first I had to admit
that I needed help. That’s so hard to do and second as I saw my total increase, almost daily I was brought to tears. It’s one thing
to think that people support you and another thing to know it, and its
one thing to think God is calling you someone and then a whole nother
thing to watch Him confirm it. Your financial support and prayer support for me is overwhelming. I
had prayed that God would guide my life wherever He wanted and He lead
me to missions. Then I prayed that He would provide and He gave me you.
You have been the answer to my prayers. By you supporting me you have
enabled me to be obedient to God’s call for my life. Now I am able to
be used by God to answer the prayers of the Swazi orphans that need to be
loved. Its incredible to see how everything falls perfectly into place
when we are obedient to God.
My prayer for this season of my life has been that God would break me so He can continue
to mold me into the man that He desires for me to be. Let’s just say I
started praying and He started answering. All week, every session, more
and more of me got chiseled away. The more I learned about the trip the
more I saw God taking away everything that I thought I needed to be comfortable (no Internet! no showers! touchy feely people! really???). He’s leaving me with the realization that all that matters to Him is that I love Him and that I love others. This is just the
beginning of an incredible awakening to God and the Holy Spirit that
will redefine my life. So to say thank you could never equate to the
gratitude I feel towards you. Please continue praying that we will
clearly hear God’s voice and that we will BOLDLY do what He asks of us.
