“I am what it sounds like when you sing Heaven’s song. I am what it feels like when Heaven comes down. I am what it looks like when God is all around.”
What a breathtaking concept! The God of the universe who holds all of heaven and earth in his hands,could display his glory anywhere, and yet, he delights to display his glory in me. Through Jesus, God has broken my chains of humanity and offered me access to the very same power that raised Christ from the dead. Tomorrow our team is heading to Swaziland. We are embarking on an adventure that God has created us for. Everything in our lives up to this moment has been purposed by God to equip us for this mission. I’m so thankful to be surrounded by a group of people who are just foolish enough to believe that they can make a difference in this world for the glory of God. This group of people is choosing to broken, to be poured out for the sake of the “least of these.” They are asking to see what God sees, to feel what he feels, to desire what he desires for his people. He has not forgotten about his people in Swaziland, and he has chosen us to be his hands and feet to show his people in Swaziland how much he desires for them to know how much he loves them. What a magnificent gift it is to be used by God.
