My heart is with the young boys of Swaziland.
Don’t get me wrong, I love holding me a baby
But my heart is absolutely destroyed for these boys.
They make actions of rebellion
They are quiet
They want to be mysterious.
They have walls built all around their hearts.
They are desperate
They are fatherless…as is pretty much every child in Swazi.
They are hurting
They are the future of this country
I know
and believe that Swaziland WILL NOT be gone by 2050.
These people will beat HIV/AIDS.
These people will rise above their current sexual saturated culture.
Husbands will not dare touch their wives in any other way but in a loving manner.
We will not have to console a 16 year old girl who has been raped and is struggling ALONE, without a mother, trying to nurse her 3 week old baby
It starts with these boys…
I love them so much.
They are often ignored because they are rough around the edges, but they are so beautiful.
They often times want NOTHING to do with me…
Once you crack through their seemingly tough outside,
you see their heart.
They desire love.
They act like rebels because they want to be loved and guided DESPERATELY.
This week I was fortunate and due to my soccer skills (hahaha) was able to crack into and be a part of a group of older boys.
They finally accepted me as one of their own.
A younger boy about 8 or 9 years old came up to me while we were playing volleyball with a soccer ball and was making fun of me in Siswati (the language that they speak in Swaziland) and the ring leader of the boys stopped him really quickly.
It was really funny.
As much as I love to laugh with them, play soccer with them, and make fun of them there is only so much I can do for them as a girl.
Unfortunately missions and the Church is dominated by females…
At our training camp there were 120 people there and only 15 were boys…
Woman around the world have seemingly no freedom compared to woman in the United States
Making these young boys the future of the world
My call is for young men to MOVE!
GO!
There is not time to wait.
The boys of Swaziland need biblically solid Christian men and they need them before they die…
The entire world NEEDS biblically solid Christian men.
I wish I could do more for them,
but unfortunately there is only so much love a 19 year old white girl can give a troubled pre-teen African boy.
My prayer is that men will be obedient to the call to go in the name of Jesus!
They are needed desperately.
I look into their eyes and so the cry for guidance.
