When I got to Swaziland I didn’t think it was anything of beauty. I thought the lands were dry and dusty, there were thorns everywhere, and rocks were much more common than flowers. As I’ve spent the past month calling this place home, I’ve discovered that it has a beauty that is indescribable. It has colors that you see through it’s amazing people. The community glows with love and care for one another. The joy and happiness is so beyond something I’ve ever seen, no matter how much they don’t have. The richest man in the world could never be as happy as the people of Timbutini, Swaziland are. The trees are getting greener and greener everyday. With as much darkness, poverty, and struggle that are in Swaziland, it is one of the happiest places I have ever been to. It’s amazing how little they have and how huge the smile on their face is. I have quickly realized how blessed I am for the people God has carefully placed into my life, and the simplest things that I have taken for granted without even realizing it.
