And The Journey Begins..

One might think that the words “training camp” are useless and boring. I mean, you pretty much already know everything, right? If you’ve been in church your whole life, know that jesus loves you and wants to love others, and how you’re suppose to share the Gospel to everyone you meet. So you don’t need this camp, right? Wrong. All of those things might be true but you can never be fully prepared for what God has in store for you and what  He wants to teach you. Training camp is definitely not useless or boring. It’s fun, crazy, energetic, ecouraging, comforting, empowering, and so much more. Since I’ve been here God has spoken to my heart and broke chains that were holding me back. I’ve herad His voice. And I know that I am His beloved.

God can do such amazing things in such a short amount of time! Everyone always says He’ll do things in His timing, but we all worry that it’s going to take forever or we won’t get answers or results. But that’s not always the case! Most time it’s us, we just don’t have our eyes open fully towards Him! His answers may be there, we just might not be able to see them. In this past week He has definfitely opend my eyes and my heart towards Him. I declare that I have been set free and that He loves me!

If it wasn’t for this camp and everyone pouring their lives into it I would just go out on the field broken hearted and empty, it would be hard for me to pour my life into others. But this camp was for me. It was focused to not only teach me about Swazi, but to prepare my heart for things much greater and to give me time to process through some things and get right with God while I’m here. Now I am so ready to go and share the love of Jesus so others can feel the same inexplicable joy and love that He has shown me!

If you ever feel like God is calling you for a greater purpose, for missions, for a trip like this one, then don’t hesitate to listen. He has so much more in store for you! And don’t think that training camp is boring…truely cherish the time spent getting to know God and your team. You will become a family and know He’s your Father. That’s when He will use you greatly. When you’re all connected together as one in Him!
