Ok so it has been a long time since I have put a blog up but
the internet keeps losing connection everytime I try to put it up haha so hopefully
it will work this time!
We had a little change in plans for today. We were
originally planning to go to a carepoint and then come blog and stuff but
yesterday evening we got invited to go to a school today and were told that they would
need someone to have a short message.
So we were all just relaxing and Patrice
comes and tells us the change and said that we needed to ask God who was
suppose to speak today. I knew pretty much immediately that God wanted me to
step out and just trust Him but I wasn’t so sure about this yet. We were all
just sitting there and not saying anything and Patrice was like come on someone
has to be feeling like they need to. So I finally spoke up and was like well I
kind of feel like I need to but I have no idea what I would say so I am minorly
freaking out. But it was decided that I was it.
One of my wonderful team mates gave me a chapter to read from a
book last night and it was soo good. It was about not looking at the mountain
in front of you but looking at God the mountain mover. God is good and I was at
peace with the whole thing and at 6:45 this morning we got ready to go and when
it was my turn I stood up in front of 250 kids and told them that God hears
them when they call out to Him and declared with them that Jesus loves us!
Despite my fears of not knowing what to say I stepped out in
faith I am reaping the rewards of obedience. God is Good!
