After a long day at a new carepoint with tired and badly behaved children,I sit being tosed around on our bumpy bus wondering; what difference can this group of 12 gurls really make?
A group of 12 women fighting up against hoplessness, sickness, disbelief, and a nieve currupt government.H ow could we really change things? As I began to think more into it I’m sure one if not all of the 12 disciples had these same thoughts.what can I do to fix this mess? How could I make it possible to cloth and feed all these people?
Jesus didn’t choose the best of the best he chose the fishermen and the tax collectors, scribes. It wasn’t about their occupations, but it was about there heart and willingness to pick up and be obedient to Gods calling on each of their lives.
In obedience us 12 have stepped up to the plate… To swing and take risks for christs sake. We have picked up and followed him to africa! I may not have all the answers, but I have a God who is fully able to bring hope to the hopless, restore health to the sick, rest to the restless.our god is fully avle to do anything and I am honored to just be able to be part of that process.
I love how god brought this verse to my attention:
1 corinthians 15:58
“Therefore, my beloved brothers,be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor will not be in vain.”
