You are constantly surrounded by people. You are constantly surrounded by opportunities. Opportunities to invest your time and love in people, the best investment you could ever make. You have the ability to change lives, no matter where you are, no matter who you are around. God has the ability to touch people through you, through your love, and through your words. I have been learning a lot about encouragement and love, and the tremendous power both of these things have to strengthen relationships, to build people up, and to glorify God. God made us all differently and perfectly, and he made us all to be his hands and feet. Everyone’s heard of “WWJD” or “what would Jesus do” and I have come to a conclusion and it’s much more simple than people think. Jesus would love, he would love infinitely and he would love powerfully. God really isn’t anything about rules or guidelines or anything that religion is made out to be, HE is love. He is a love that wants a relationship with you, and as that relationship grows, it brings the strongest faith, an endless amount of hope, courage that will make you do crazy things, strength at it’s strongest, an overwhelming peace, immense grace, the happiest joy, and more than anything-an unfailing love. Love really is the answer to all things, and I think we often overlook the power it possesses. Love is something that nobody can fight, it is a power that is stronger than anything in this world. We all have the chance, everyday, to encourage and love on people. How many of us take advantage of those opportunities, and how many opportunities can we so easily miss? God has opened my eyes so much to these opportunities I can take advantage of, and I know I have been blessed with the desire to love people like Jesus does. Love out loud, act in love and encourage. Encouragement has turned into something that many people see as shallow, encouragement for the works people do. Rather than do that, encourage people for who they are, encourage people for how God sees them. I encourage everyone who reads this to encourage people around them for who they are, who they were made to be, perfectly in God. Strangers or people closest to you, people are able to see Him through you, and that is such a strong gift that is given to everyone who will take advantage of it. I have had a revelation on how love should look, and what exactly love looks like. Love looks like God and is absolutely flawless.
