“Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.”
This summer someone gave you a word and said that God was calling me to be a warrior. I did not believe her when she told me this, so God put that on another persons heart to tell me that God was choosing me to be a warrior.
Our group did a two day fast, which was difficult, but rewarding. During our fast I asked God if he was really preparing me to be a warrior and what the meant. This is what he told me..
“Being a warrior takes courage and a willingness to be ready to fight. It takes diligence and strength, perseverance, and a heart that longs to serve. You will be ready in time, but first I must teach you. I must equip you so that you will be ready to go into battle. Wait patiently on the Lord.”
I am so excited that God is teaching me what it means to be a warrior. He has encouraged me to be bold and speak truth into peoples lives. I am learning about the power of words and how we have the authority to speak life into people. God has taught me how to speak life into the kids lives that I meet every day, and encourage them with God’s truth, even if they can not understand me!
We are all called to be warriors and as it says in Ephesians 6, to put on the full armor of God! Once we learn how to use our words to speak life, lives will be changed, hearts will be transformed, and we can see heaven here on earth!
So go and fight, be a warrior for Christ!
