Matthew 19:14
But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”
It’s been another week full of love. We go to a care point pretty much every day. I love that I get the privilege of loving these precious children. I am honored to be the one that God uses to keep His promises to His little ones. I get to be the very hands and feet of Jesus.
What does that look like?
A lap to sit on instead of the ground. The smile that is contagious. A shoulder to cry on. That kiss or that hug. A hand to hold. Playing game after game. Counting rocks, fingers, and toes. Telling stories. Singing songs. Tickling bellies. Praying. Loving. Paying attention. Caring.
When I’m sitting at a care point with a child on my lap, I feel complete peace and I know that this is why God created me. To be the way He provides for His children when others have failed them. To be love when there is none. To bring Him glory in a hopleless situation.
I am so thankful that God is using me in a simple yet powerful way. I love our time at the care points with these beautiful children.
