The Lord has been so good to us while we have been in Nsoko. He has blessed us with so many opportunities to share his word and we are so privileged that the Lord has chosen us for his special plans! Here and just a few of the opportunities the Lord has blessed us with.
*We have split up into small groups with a translator and gone on many home visits. We have met so many amazing people who are so open about their lives, their struggles, and are always open to prayer. I met a lady named Passion who I began talking to and asked her if she had a personal relationship with the Lord. She was so excited that I asked, and we sat there and encouraged each other with what the Lord was doing in our lives. Some of the other amazing people are Beauty, Nsipo, Clive, and Betsy. (Keep them in your prayers because many of them are also sick.)
*I had a dream that I was yelling declarations to kids at a school we visited and they were repeating me. I woke up and thought…that would be so cool to do that, but I don’t know when we are going to the school next. That same day we ran into the principal of the school and he asked if someone would come and talk to the students at chapel on Friday. I had the privilege to share with the students Christ’s love and speak truth to them. I also had them yell declarations and I could sense the Lord rejoicing over his children.
*Weekly there is a woman’s Bible Study where the women come and sing and talk and worship the Lord. The women let me speak which was very cool, and then all prayed over me at the same time. It was so powerful and I felt such a peace and the Spirit of God in the room!
*One day a few of us were supposed to go to this care point, but when we got there the GoGos were not cooking that day because it was too windy. Since no kids were not going to show up we took oranges and began to pass them out to different people. God obviously had different plans because we got to meet a bunch of women who were working in a garden and establish a relationship with them. We offered to come back and help them garden, and the Lord has blessed that time we have spent with them!
That is just a few of the ways the Lord has used us these past few weeks, but we have begun to press into him more and he has shown up! I am truly so thankful for the girls on this team! The Lord is using all our different gifts to work together and bring him glory! We have had some awesome bonding times in worshiping, praying, surviving the heat, our nightly dinners, and just sharing our lives with one another! I am excited to see more of what the Lord does!
