MY 21st Birthdayyy!!! 🙂

HOW I SPENT MY 21 BIRTHDAYYY IN AFRICA!!!!


 


6:30 am- Woke up to dogs barking annoyingly at each other.  Went to the bathroom and didn’t pee on my feet. Happy Birthday to me!


 


6:45- Went to the kitchen and found decorations and presents that Nikki set up for me!


 


7:00- Got a good workout in while eating some BANANNA BREAD(which I basically eat everyday we go to town) and helped make breakfast.  I also got to open one present which was tropical juice!


 


7:20- Did my bible study with Nikki.


 


7:52- Put on my new shoes! And a really cute pink birthday outfit. Haha


 


8:10- Ate breakfast, yogurt and granola and tea!


 


9:15- Had a dance party in the Kumby, jamming to crazy music on the way to the “Hope House�.


 


9:45-12:00- Went with Jen to buy water for the team and then did ministry.


 


12:00pm- Ate pb&j for lunch like EVERY other dayyy.


 


12:30-2:30- Went and bought groceries for our new friend Sandile and his family.


 


2:45-3:15- Went to the mall to get things for dinner and more water for the group.


 


3:15-4:30- Waited at the mall for the Kumby to pick us up and take us home(We wait a lot in Africa).


 


4:35-4:45- Wrote in my journal and opened cards from my family at home. (Thanks mom and dad, I loved reading them!)


 


5:00-7:30- HELPED make a delicious birthday dinner! YUMMY! Honey mustard chicken, mashed potatoes, and salad with cheese!


 


7:30-9:30- Had a PARTY! J Ate dinner, opened presents (a lot of amazing ones!), had cake which Tara so kindly decorated and baked, and chilled with everyone including; Nosiphou, Nomfundo, and Gogo!


 


9:40-11:10- Watched ‘The Princess and the Frog’ and ate delish popcorn made by Kelsey and Aubrey.


 


11:15-11:45- Layed in my bed to think and pray about the amazing birthday I just had in Swaziland!


 


11:57- Went to bed! J


 


I don’t know very many 21 year old girls that would choose to spend their birthday in Africa! I absolutely loved it though! Thanks everyone (especially NIKKI) for making my 21 birthday AMAZING!


(I tried to put up pics but the internet in Africa is sooo slow. so maybe next time i have more time i can add one!)
