Ephesians 2:10
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
Psalm 139:16
And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them.
Ephesians 3:20
With God’s power working in us, God can do much, much more than anything we could ever ask or imagine.
God’s timing is so important to His specific plan. That’s something I’ve realized these past few weeks. God has planned out my every step. It’s crazy to think about: the fact that before I was even created, God knew the people I would meet on this trip. He knew the friends that I would make and the people I would grow to love.
None of it is an accident. His timing is so perfect and flawless. I see it when I meet someone and they were supposed to be elsewhere at that time. I see it when I’m at the hospital at just the right time to comfort a little girl who has to watch her brother go through pain and sickness.
I see it when I look back at experiences and circumstances that didn’t seem to make sense at the time but now reveal God’s glory and His hand at work.
The people that I’ve established relationships were placed in my pathway by the Lord. I love to think about that. It’s such a great and comforting thought. God loves me so much that He has let me come in contact with my wonderful friends at the market. On the day that I sat down next to Mumcy, He knew that we would become like sisters. He knew that I would get to hug and kiss those kids at the care points. He knew that I would become friends with Gladys’ family down the street.
I’m not really sure where I’m going with this blog. But I just wanted to share these thoughts. His plan is so much bigger and greater than we can ever fathom. God is so great and so powerful and so amazing.
