Things have definitely been moving forward quite quickly since the last time I wrote. We moved out to Nsoko two weeks ago, which is where I was two years ago with my World Race team. It has been so neat to see so many familiar faces. There were a few children that I really wanted to see and this week I found quite a few of them.
The first one my team and I referred to as Boots. As you can see in the first picture she always wore motorcycle boots so we chose an easy name to refer to her. I found her as I was walking up to the school this week. I yelled out Boots and got so excited. Our ministry partner explained to her what I was saying and she seemed uninterested. A few days later while at the school she told her friends her name was Boots. I invited her back to the center to see some pictures of herself and others from two years ago. She was so excited to see the pictures, it was fun to watch her expression. Left pictures is from two years ago right is a current photo of both.

The second child I was looking for I referred to her as Chunky Monkey. She was the type that was always wanting to be in your lap and fidgety but adorable. I showed Mapile, our ministry partner, a picture of her to see if he knew her and he said he hadn’t seen her in a while. Not ten minutes later wer were sitting outside the center and Mapile said that is her and there she was playing right in front of us. I still cannot remember her name but it was fabulous to reunite.
When I leave a country I often forget that time continues on there too. This summer when I was reading the book Scared by Tom Davis (side note I got to meet him last week it was soooo cool) God spoke to me and told me that I had forgotten Swaziland. That’s like a stab to my heart. Amazinly for me I got a second chance to come back here to see the growth and development and the lives that are being changed and for that I am so thankful.
God has given us SO many opportunities this week to minister around the area. He has specifically opened up a relationship for us to share at the school closest to our home. The team is stepping up and sharing the Gospel frequently and that has been powerful. Here are some pictures to show you what we have been up to…

This is Angel, she is 2 months old.

This is Grace, she is a Gogo that I met while helping with a Timbali Crafts retreat. The retreat brought in all the Gogos that sew purses and work at the carepoints to Manzini. The weekend was filled with lots of games and teachings. I got to know Grace through a game that involved trying to make the people in your circle laugh. I was the one making people laugh, she couldn’t help but giggle.

We broke down on the side of the road on the way to the retreat so we decided to have a photo shoot with our van, always a good time.

This is us at the school singing songs with the children this week. They love songs that involve us looking like fools.
Hope you enjoyed the pictures. Keep praying. Pray for the Lord to provide for us spiritually and for me financially. I am still in need of $5000, as always you are welcome to give. Thanks- Patrice
