Afrikaaaa

I want to live in a mud hut in Swazi forever. Their simple yet incredibly relational lifestyle has gripped my heart! Swazi is by far the most beautiful country I have been to. The people have stolen my heart.

During the 5 hour journey from the airport in South Africa to Timbutini in Swazi, we would gasp with wonder and shout with delight at the beautiful landscapes and precious people that we passed by. As we entered Timbutini and we saw groups of children running down the dusty roads, my heart completely stopped beating…literally. My heart could not contain all the joy that I felt in that moment.

God has done countless miracles and we have only been here a couple of days! This excites me to no end to see how much more God is going to do during these 2 months!

Watching the sunset has been such a blessing. Pictures do not do this place justice. I haven’t given up, but Swazi is just too beautiful. Everywhere you look is a new and wonderfully breathtaking scene. The weather has been absolutely perfect!

The nights are full of constant noise. Swazi never sleeps.

At the care point for the orphans, I was kissed, hugged, and clung to by so many precious children. My heart was content and full of joy. They have so much love to give and I gave it right back to them by showing them the Father’s heart.

We have met so many natives by divine encounter. It has been incredible to see how God literally sets up every conversation. We went on a prayer walk and because of that, we met an amazing family and were invited to a party! God has been in every situation and his divine providence has been incredible. God is so good.
