Hiking on a mountain in Africa, wildlife all around, African drums in the distance, and watching a storm blow in, all at the same time? Yeah, that’s what my day consisted of on Saturday. How many people can say that?? My team had the privilege of experiencing this incredible opportunity on our day off when we decided to go check out Execution Rock. On the mountain we saw zebras, wildebeests, warthogs, antelope, a lemur, a crocodile, and some hippos! It was pretty legit. Probably one of the best days ever.
Not only did I get to go on this adventure, but I got to share the experience with people I love, and I got to enjoy God’s glory at the same time. His greatness is overwhelming. His love is unconditional. His joy is everywhere if you just open your eyes and look. I was reminded of this on Saturday. Seeing his creation the way it was suppose to be… It’s definitely something I will never forget!
